Fran? I think something--

I'm usually pretty light on my feet, but these shoes aren't very easy to walk in.

Everyone looks like they're having so much fun, I'm really glad you came, Fran. Maybe, after this is over, we can ice skate a little. I've never really tried before, but it doesn't look too hard.

The Winter Gala? Admittedly, I've never really been to something so formal, but I'm definitely not going to pass up the chance to dance. So, I guess with that much said.. Larsa, Fran, Balthier, Basch--

Christmas, trees, jingle bells- I don't think I'll ever get used to all of these holidays, but that doesn't take away from me enjoying them. The mistletoe I probably could have done without but it was one of the more tame curses. But it was just that, a curse, so there isn't a reason for me to be angry or for your to apologize so much, Larsa.

I hope everyone enjoyed their gifts as much as I enjoyed mine. My room doesn't seem so bare anymore with the flowers and the melody the box plays, I could almost dance to it. I even have a coat for some of the cooler days outside.

Fran, Balthier, Basch, Hamel, Larsa -- Thank you very much for the gifts, I'll treasure them.

The City? It's colder than I remember..

It.. looks like I'm back in time for Christmas.

There are so many strange holidays here, but I think yesterday was probably one of my favorites. I can't really remember the last time I'd thanked so many people, even strangers, for the littlest things. Opening a door, smiling, saying hello.

It made me think a lot about my friends and family, too. I think about Vaan almost everyday and I know he's safe, but I can't help worrying about him. We've been together for so long, it really does seem like we're family. Even so, I'm glad that I'm not here alone, I've got Larsa, Fran, Basch and everyone else that I've met here.

And I'm happy for that much.

I'm not really used to wearing things like this, but it's not really uncomfortable. Just different.

I think we bought plenty of candy for those trick or treaters, too.

I heard these curses were only supposed to last a day, so why are people still being hunted? Some of the people they're naming are so young, it kind of makes me wonder if they're just full of it. Just because someone can do something that you can't doesn't automatically make them a witch!

Really! Vaan is more mature than this. Sometimes.

But if that's the case, maybe we shouldn't go out today. If they're this bad to Humes, I don't know what they'd do if they they saw a Viera. We've got enough food for a few days, so we won't have to worry about running out before the curse ends.

Larsa? Basch? Are you both all right?

I wasn't affected, but I don't think it makes hearing and seeing these things happen any easier. Quite a few people managed to get free, but others.. I could hear them screaming from the street. The air is heavy and the smell, it's almost nauseating. The last time I saw so much death...

I think I'd take Ba'Gamnan and his family over this. Mm. Definitely.

Is anyone still trapped? If so, could you tell me where you are? If not, do you need any help finding a healer?

When I turned the faucet on today, I found that I could mold the water that came out almost as if it were clay. I can't really explain it. However, even though I can do it, I don't really think I should. When I do, something doesn't feel right. The ability wasn't mine to begin with, so it just doesn't seem right using it recklessly.

Larsa and Basch moved into the apartment across the hall, now I'm staying with Fran. The apartments, they're really nice but they're almost a little too luxurious. Computers, microwaves -- I've never seen anything quite like them back in Rabanastre. If When I do return, I'll have a lot of fun stories for everyone.

A desert I can handle, but this? I don't remember putting anything like this on, let alone owning it. He said the curses were strange, but I didn't imagine anything like this. Maybe it's better, then, that Vaan isn't here.

I don't think I've seen a single airship in the sky since I arrived.

I can't get over the feeling I'm somewhere I'm not meant to be.

It's so much different than Rabanastre. These coins kind of remind me of a rainbow, but I don't remember having them in my purse at home. I don't really know how long they'll last, so trying to find work might be a good idea. It would be easy if Migelo was here, but it looks like I came alone.

Could someone tell me where a good place to start might be? I did odd jobs in Rabanastre, nothing too dangerous, but I'm tougher than I look!

It might be a long shot, but I'm going to ask. Has anyone seen a boy named Vaan? He's not overly tall, has blonde hair and lightly tanned skin -- and a knack for getting into lots of trouble, if it helps. I'd appreciate any information you could give me, it's really important that I find him.

I hope he isn't getting into any trouble..
